TUCSON, Ariz. – Treasures 4 Teachers and Four Peaks are partnering to help more than 5,000 teachers across Arizona with school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Through the partnership, teachers who pick up a voucher will be receive a bag filled with back-to-school essentials.
Adrienne Ledford, the Executive Director of Treasures 4 Teachers said the partnership between the organization and Four Peaks has helped many teachers throughout the state bring much needed items into their classrooms.
“What I find is markers are probably one of the most needed items because they dry up. Crayons and spiral notebooks, everybody thinks is the big item that teachers need but it depends on the grade level,” said Ledford.
Through the partnership, 1,200 vouchers will be given to teachers in the Tucson area.
